In my career I have been fortunate to establish strong working relationships, and collaborations with key stakeholders, NFP’s, local, state and federal agencies across both the Perth and the southern regions, this includes focused Committees, improvement teams and community strategy groups to meet gaps in lower socio-economic areas and communities.
My mission has always been to advocate social and human rights, ethical practices and centered based goals to meet people’s needs to support excellence in service delivery and engaging creative solutions. For example: alongside people experiencing homelessness, antisocial issues, FDV, AOD, mental, physical and medical issues.
I’m experienced in managing teams, clinical support, evidence-based practices, trauma informed and therapeutic crisis interventions, low-threshold support and as a part of multidisciplinary teams. As an example: Writing, implementing and presenting men focused parenting programs such as Perinatal workshops, Foster Fathers programs, Men’s behavioral workshops, Rehab’s, and FDV services to promote change. I’m passionate in empowering CaLD, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBQTIA+ clients to build capacity for independence and success through evidence-based research and approaches that educate and resource their realisation, personal goals, and service needs.
