Wirraka Maya Health Service Aboriginal Corporation is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service designed to ensure our clients’ journey through the health system meets their medical, health, social and cultural needs.
Offers Aboriginal people an autonomous, trauma-informed Aboriginal-specific community-based counselling and referral service that acknowledges the impact of colonisation on Aboriginal people. We provide an environment to enhance the healing process for Aboriginal individuals and their families experiencing emotional distress, and working towards empowerment collectively and individually.
Providing programs to help reduce anxiety , suicide , depression and self harm in young people
Free and confidential legal services to young people (under 25).
Yura Yungi Medical Service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service providing holistic, culturally appropriate health care and programs. The organisation has preventative and public health programs include maternal and child health, women’s health, chronic disease program delivery and sexual health services. (JC)
